Death Records and Burial Permit Books
These records come from loose death certificates donated to the Hinsdale Historical Society and two bound books that were created by the Village of Hinsdale to record deaths and burial permits within the town during the years 1902 through 1915.
The Hinsdale Historical Society's Obituary collection includes obituaries of individuals who resided or passed away in Hinsdale from the 1870s through the 2020s. This index is constantly being updated as we add more obituaries to the collection. Obituaries are a great resource for those researching their genealogy and family history.
World War II Hinsdale Service Members
The Hinsdale Historical Society's World War II Service Members collection includes photographs, newspaper clippings, and other documents regarding individuals' service in the military, Red Cross, and overseas during World War II. This index will help you find if the Archives holds information about a specific individual's service in this collection.
