Fullersburg School, also called Brush Hill School, was built by Lieutenant Sherman King in 1853 at the north end of Garfield Street, between the cemetery and Ogden Avenue. James Vallette of Naperville became the first teacher, boarding with the Fox family during the week and walking home on weekends. The school was later remodeled.
Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church held their services here until 1888 for a year before building their church.
In 1924, Fullersburg became part of the Hinsdale school district and this school's use was discontinued. It was rehabilitated in 1926 and renamed Ogden School. It was permanently abandoned in 1928 when Monroe School was built.
The building burned to the ground in 1938.
